Risk Management Intern

Erste Group Bank AG is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intern in Banking Book Risk Management. As a key member of our risk management department, you will play a crucial role in identifying, measuring, and controlling market and liquidity risk across the Group.
Your Responsibilities:- Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies and policies
- Analyze and report on market and liquidity risk positions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of risk reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Contribute to the design and implementation of risk management tools and processes
- Currently studying banking, finance, economics, mathematics, or having an IT background
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of SQL, Python, and VBA a plus
- Exciting and challenging full-time internship (38.5h/week) as of January 2025
- Internship allowance of minimum EUR 2.821,46 gross per month on a full-time basis
