Thesis Opportunity: Advanced Battery State Estimation Algorithms with Smart Sensors

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to work on a thesis project focused on advanced battery state estimation algorithms using smart sensors.
Project OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting a literature review of possible smart sensors and their impact on battery core function (BCF)
- Defining the BCF architecture for smart-sensor-based battery management systems (BMS)
- Developing algorithms for BCF based on smart sensors
- Validating the model using real test data
Requirements
- Ongoing bachelor studies in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, automation technology, telematics, or innovation management
- Good knowledge of control engineering
- First experiences with Matlab/Simulink/Targetlink
- Good knowledge of English
- Availability to work at our headquarters in Graz
