Manufacturing Execution Systems Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Lead to join our European MES Project Team at Emerson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in the implementation of our Syncade solution in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess customer processes and identify business opportunities for the Syncade solution.
  • Work with customers to map as-is and to-be business processes and set strategic vision.
  • Perform high-level business and technical analyses, including value-stream mapping and requirements definition.
  • Assess and advise on technical and commercial risk during the pursuit of potential MES projects.
  • Provide high-level support and consultancy to project technical leads and mentor key team members.
  • Maintain industry expertise and MES knowledge leadership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers as a trust advisor.
  • Provide internal and external presentations and support customer presentations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems, with expertise in business process mapping and requirements analysis.
  • Excellent knowledge of data integration, server hardware, and networks, as well as ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Knowledge of biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and operational workflow.
  • Proficient level of English (written and spoken).
  • Availability to travel to Europe up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with working in regulated environments, including cGMP and 21CRF part 11.
  • High level of customer interfacing skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
