Senior Automation Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer (m/d/f) to join our team at Copeland. This position offers an excellent opportunity to leverage your technical expertise while further enhancing your skills. If you are proficient in German and possess strong DeltaV capabilities , along with a solid understanding of the automation sector, this role could be an ideal fit for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Developing functional and design specifications for control systems (both hardware and software) under the guidance of the Lead Engineer and in collaboration with clients. Conducting design studies and producing quality documentation for projects in accordance with project specifications and relevant procedures. Configuring software applications for the Emerson Controls System DeltaV. Executing internal tests and customer acceptance tests both in-house and at client locations. Providing commissioning, start-up assistance, after-sales support, and training for our clients. Creating necessary technical project documentation.IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering. Several years of experience in a control engineering project environment. Previous experience in the Process Automation field with technical expertise in control system engineering. Knowledge of control system design, hardware cabinet design and assembly, software system design, implementation, and testing. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. Willingness to travel for training or business purposes. Proficiency in both English and German. A valid driver’s license.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
