Job Title: Contract Commerce Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Commerce Specialist to join our team in Vienna, Austria. As a Contract Commerce Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing bidding documents, identifying risks, and proposing risk mitigation measures.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract commerce: Review bidding documents, identify risks, propose risk mitigation measures, and design commercial & legal solutions/clauses; analyze, draft, amend and/or negotiate contracts; take overall responsibility for mitigating commercial and legal risks; set and achieve objectives of contract quality management
  • Contract fulfillment: Take the lead in contract fulfillment, including but not limited to processing of purchase orders and change requests
  • Sales project decision-making: Facilitate and manage the quality of sales project review and decision-making; identify/disclose project/contract risks; execute sales project decision-making rules
  • Supporting work related to project bidding/contracts: Contract clause interpretation, contract signing/archiving, follow-up on assumptions/risks, contract changes, information query from team members, internal quality control, and other relevant tasks
Your Profile:
  • Basic knowledge of law, especially contract law and commercial code; work experience in a law firm or international trade company is highly welcome;
  • Good understanding of commercial contracts and relevant risks;
  • Analytical thinking and strong self-drive to learn and become a contract expert;
  • Willing to adapt and fit in a multicultural work environment
