Be a Key Player in Procurement

We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Expert to join our team at Bombardier Aerospace Austria GmbH. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in leading purchasing activities for a designated family of products or suppliers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction initiatives and implement them
  • Research and evaluate potential new suppliers to ensure the best possible service and quality
  • Establish and monitor key supplier performance to guarantee compliance and satisfaction
  • Manage supplier relationships to foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership
  • Support the Procurement Manager in resolving operational issues and overseeing complex negotiations

About You:

  • Experience in commodity sourcing and supplier management within an engineering context is essential
  • Fluency in both English and German is required
  • Ability to challenge the status quo, assertiveness, and diplomacy are key traits for success in this role
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities independently and work in a dynamic environment
