Role Overview

As a Procurement Specialist, you will engage in a thorough analysis of product requirements, pricing structures, current suppliers, and market conditions to curate an optimal selection of products and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of needs, costs, and supplier landscapes to enhance the product and supplier mix.
  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies tailored to specific categories of materials.
  • Collaborate actively in product development initiatives, contributing to innovative solutions.
  • Manage supplier relationships through searching, selecting, classifying, onboarding, and evaluating suppliers.
  • Implement risk management practices by analyzing and assessing product and supplier portfolios to ensure long-term supply stability, categorizing suppliers by risk levels.
Candidate Profile
  • Possess a commercial education (e.g., HAK) or advanced commercial or technical qualifications (university, FH); extensive purchasing experience is advantageous.
  • Exhibit proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (experience with Navision or SAP is a plus).
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, negotiation capabilities, and a confident demeanor.
  • Be a reliable, responsible, independent, and personable individual.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional InformationSalary

The remuneration will be based on professional experience, with a formal minimum salary according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement set at €41.
