Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Procurement Specialist to join our team at MED-EL. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of IT assets and the procurement of IT equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Asset Management: Ensure the proper management of IT assets, including the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of equipment and software.
  • Procurement of IT Equipment and Services: Execute operative IT purchasing activities, including the evaluation of offers and invoices, and the optimization of delivery and purchase conditions.
  • Vendor Management: Perform and oversee vendor management for all IT vendors, ensuring that contracts are managed effectively and that vendors meet our quality and service standards.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Ensure the effective management of IT contracts, including the negotiation, execution, and renewal of contracts.
  • eProcurement Support: Support our internal eProcurement system, including Identity and Access Management for our webshop.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Completed higher economic/commercial or technical education, as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in IT procurement.
  • Technical Understanding: Very good technical understanding of IT systems and processes.
  • Language Skills: Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a passion for IT and a flexible working style.
