Cybersecurity Specialist for Hybrid Infrastructures

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at MED-EL Elektromedizinische Geräte GmbH. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining robust security architectures for our hybrid infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies involving firewalls, SD-WAN, routing & switching, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Ensure strict adherence to industry-standard security protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Create and manage firewall rules, monitor network traffic, and analyze logs to identify potential security threats.
  • Conduct thorough error analysis and resolve complex network security issues in collaboration with the IT solution architecture team.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in designing and managing enterprise-grade firewalls and sophisticated network configurations.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
  • A passion for automation, infrastructure as code, and scripting languages to streamline network security operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to addressing complex challenges.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with excellent English language proficiency (German is an asset).
About the Role

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including a minimum salary of €45,068.38, which may vary based on professional experience.
