Job Summary

MED-EL, a leading manufacturer of innovative medical devices for the treatment of hearing loss, seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to join their Information Technology team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential information security threats and implement proactive controls to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate information security audits, handle nonconformities, and facilitate corrective actions.
  • Promote awareness about cybersecurity best practices across the organization and provide training to employees as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of information security incidents and develop reports on the status of the program for management review.

About You

  • Hold a Master's degree or higher in information security, computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in information security governance, risk management, or a related field, with CompTIA Security certification.
