Senior Data Scientist for Big Data Processing

Dynatrace is seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative big data processing solutions. As a key member of our research team, you will work closely with our development teams and other stakeholders to design and implement efficient algorithms and architectures for real-time data processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced data processing algorithms and architectures for real-time data ingestion and processing.
  • Collaborate with our development teams to bridge academic research and commercial technology development.
  • Actively participate in scientific and industrial cooperation projects to drive innovation and growth.
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient data processing solutions using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Lucene.
  • Contribute to the development of next-generation technologies that help companies run better, safer, and more innovative software.
Requirements:
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong interest in performance and resource optimization as well as algorithm development for indexing, pattern matching, and query optimization.
  • Experience with real-world projects in the area of big data processing.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, including architectural design.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, clean code, and design patterns.
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written).
