Responsibilities
  • Contribute to research in the field of big data processing and develop efficient algorithms and architectures to address ingest and real-time processing of massive amounts of data.
  • Bridge academic research and commercial technology development by collaborating with our development teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively take part in scientific and industrial cooperation projects.
Requirements
  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong interest in performance and resource optimization as well as in algorithm development for indexing, pattern matching, sketching, query optimization.
  • Experience with real-world projects in the area of big data processing.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, including architectural design.
  • Experience with Kafka, Spark, Lucene, or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with test-driven development, clean code, and design patterns.
  • Enjoy passing on knowledge and experience to fellow team members.
  • Excited to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written).
