About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Researcher to join our team at Dynatrace. As a Senior Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research in the field of big data processing and developing efficient algorithms and architectures to address ingest and real-time processing of massive amounts of data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in big data processing and develop innovative solutions to address complex data processing challenges.
  • Collaborate with our development teams and other internal and external stakeholders to bridge academic research and commercial technology development.
  • Contribute to the global research community by publishing and disseminating research findings in journals and presenting at conferences.
  • Actively participate in scientific and industrial cooperation projects.

Research Focus

Our research is driven by the need to process and analyze millions of metrics and events in real-time. This requires the highest scalability not only of the infrastructure but also of the applied technologies and algorithms to handle data ingest and storage, and to enable large-scale data analysis and anomaly detection in real-time.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong interest in performance and resource optimization as well as in algorithm development for indexing, pattern matching, sketching, query optimization.
  • Strong publication record.
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written).
