Senior Project Manager for Quantum Computing Initiatives

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious professional to lead ion trap systems projects, making useful quantum computers a reality. As a key member of our international team, you will play a pivotal role in leading multi-discipline project teams across various Infineon sites, focusing on technology development and assembly.
About the RoleThis position involves managing complex projects, leveraging your management and driving skills to deliver results. You will be responsible for leading projects of varying complexity, interacting with different stakeholders, including internal management, steering committees, and external customers.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will strengthen collaboration and relationships with customers through remote meetings and face-to-face workshops, motivate and network with project teams, and bring a well-defined structure to complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multi-discipline project teams across various Infineon sites
- Interact with different stakeholders, including reporting to internal management, steering committee, and external customers
- Strengthen collaboration and relationship with customers
- Motivate and network with project team
- Bring a well-defined structure to complex projects
- Be responsible for the project scope, budget, schedule, resource plan, as well as management of the project risks
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of work experience in semiconductor technology development or physics, with at least 5 years of experience in project management
- Leadership, stakeholder management, coordination, and networking skills
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
