We are seeking a skilled Senior Specialist Support Category Buyer to join our BILLA Central and Eastern Europe team. Located in Wiener Neudorf, this full-time position offers an attractive annual gross salary of €38,850, with the possibility of higher pay based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the buyer in processing orders and ensuring timely delivery of fruit and vegetables. You will also communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and resolve any issues that arise. Additionally, you will monitor stock levels and inform the buyer about potential shortages or excess stock.

Your responsibilities will include keeping accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock levels, as well as acting as a support to the buyer in checking the quality of incoming products to ensure they meet required standards. You will also coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth transportation and delivery of products.

Requirements
  • A minimum of three years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Good MS Office skills and knowledge of merchandise management systems and databases.
  • A strong command of English and basic knowledge of German.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and documentation.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills to quickly resolve issues related to orders, shipments, and inventory.
