About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Switching Technician (m/w/d) to join our team at EQOS Energie. As an Electrical Switching Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-voltage switching operations and ensuring the safe and efficient transmission of electrical energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with control centers to plan and execute switching operations
  • Perform high-voltage switching operations in the 16.7 Hz frequency range
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the electrical transmission network and its components
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance personnel and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
  • Support maintenance and repair activities on the transmission network

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience as an electrical transmission technician
  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical transmission industry, preferably with a focus on high-voltage switching
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Austria
  • Excellent written and spoken German language skills, or equivalent proficiency in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality
