High-Performance C++ Software Developer

As a skilled software developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our Ruby Agent written in C++. We are passionate about development, high performance, and understanding how things work at a low level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development of Performance Monitoring Solutions: You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and solutions for performance and availability monitoring of Ruby applications.
  • C++ Development Expertise: With strong knowledge of modern C++, you will work on developing high-performance solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • In-Depth Analysis: You will analyze and understand the inner workings of common Ruby, Ruby apps, and gems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Feature Ownership: As an independent designer and implementer, you will own new features and ensure they are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
  • International Collaboration: You will work intensively with local and international development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
Requirements:
  • Strong Understanding of Modern C++: You must have a deep understanding of modern C++ programming concepts and practices.
  • Ruby Knowledge: Knowledge of Ruby and its interpreters is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Native Extensions and FFI: Familiarity with Ruby native extensions and FFI is a plus, but not required.
  • Ruby Gems Publishing: Experience publishing Ruby gems is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Attention to Detail: You must be able to focus on details while keeping an open mind for the whole ecosystem.
  • Team Player: You should be a team player and eager to learn innovative technologies.
