We are seeking a (Junior) Operations Controller who can utilize their analytical skills and early career experience to enhance the performance of our Global Operations Controlling Team. In this position, you will assist the finance and operations divisions of Red Bull subsidiaries, focusing on Cost of Sales-related activities.
Your responsibilities will include not only reporting on plan versus actual cost discrepancies but also analyzing the root causes of these variances. Your expertise will help identify trends and opportunities for improvement. The ability to interpret data, effectively communicate insights, and collaborate across teams will be essential for optimizing processes and delivering value in this global role.
Key ResponsibilitiesMONTH & YEAR END CLOSING
- Collaborate closely with the finance teams of Red Bull subsidiaries to guarantee the precision of month and year-end closing data in our systems, particularly concerning Cost of Sales and Inventories (including annual inventory revaluation).
- Assist in the financial closing process, generate reports, and perform analyses for month-end closing.
- Ensure accurate financial evaluations based on current business developments.
- Take initiative in aiding subsidiaries to resolve issues and continuously enhance these processes.
PLANNING CYCLES
- Support Red Bull subsidiaries in business planning and revised forecasts to ensure technical accuracy.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of the latest business developments into planning cycles.
- Analyze planning data and ensure the content-related quality of data input.
- Provide variance analysis.
PROJECT WORK
- Engage in finance and operations-driven projects.
- Address cross-functional topics and assist in their implementation.
- Lead projects from a controlling perspective.
PROCESSES & KNOWLEDGE
- Maintain documentation and guidelines, contributing to ongoing process optimization.
- Support internal finance training sessions.
- Enhance quality and efficiency within the controlling function.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in controlling, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial processes and analysis.
University degree in Business Administration or Finance.
Fluent in English.
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
A high affinity for IT, with hands-on experience using SAP ERP, SAP BI, and Hyperion.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret complex data to derive valuable insights.
Results-oriented, committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Capable of clear communication with internal stakeholders and across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Additional InformationDue to legal obligations, we disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
