Store Operations Manager

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled and organized Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including managing stock, inventory, and cash handling procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in implementing procedures to streamline store operations and minimize losses.
- Effectively manage the stockroom team, including talent acquisition, development, and nurturing to drive store standards and productivity.
- Lead the aftersales process, including coordination with on-site tailors/external vendors to enhance the client experience.
- Manage the front-of-house replenishment of stock and non-stock articles to support the client experience.
- Collaborate with the Retail Standards and Operations team to address store issues, such as deliveries, dispatches, uniforms, facilities & maintenance, procedures, and Health and Safety.
- Support the Store Manager in managing the Asset and Profit Protection team to reduce shrinkage.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and stock-related collaboration with marketing, client engagement, merchandising, visual merchandising, facilities, or other departments.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleaning, maintenance, and Health and Safety, including leading local legislation requirements.
- Manage the cash office/administrator to ensure all cash and payment procedures are followed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a busy team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs.
- 1-2 years of management experience.
- Previous administration experience and cash handling experience.
- Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
- Passion for technology and ability to adapt to new technology.
- Accurate stock take results.
- High levels of staff retention.
- Accurate reporting.
