Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrification Solutions Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our High-Voltage Power Electronics team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for electric vehicles and other high-voltage applications.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, develop target datasheets, and coordinate projects in performance benchmarking. Your role will involve close collaboration with regional field application AE/FAE engineering teams and serving as a technical customer interface during product development.
As a successful candidate, you will have a clear understanding of how innovation contributes to commercial success and inspire others with your ideas. You will be able to explain complex issues in a clear and convincing manner and accept responsibility for decisions and their outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, physics, or a related field, with a PhD being a plus;
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in power electronics (automotive, industrial, consumer) in the semiconductor industry, research institute, or as a hardware designer for power systems;
- Experience in setting up and running tests for power components;
- Technical leadership experience is a plus;
- Familiarity with power technologies such as SiC MOSFETs;
- Know-how in creating technical articles, presentations containing complex technical content;
- Practical experience in working as a project member in a matrix organization;
- Very good communication and presentation skills in English.
