Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team at Hirschmann Automotive GmbH. This role will focus on developing and implementing sustainable purchasing strategies within the "Wires & Cables" area.

About You:

• You have completed business management training and possess several years of relevant professional experience.
• You are communicative and team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Your technical understanding is an asset, particularly in areas related to procurement and supply chain management.
• You are fluent in both German and English, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• You are willing to travel occasionally and have a valid passport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans for the "Wires & Cables" category.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating and concluding contracts that meet the company's needs.
• Manage budgets and profit responsibility for assigned material fields, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Track deadlines, process complaints, and handle inquiries efficiently.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing KPIs and implementing data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

• A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluency in German and English, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
