We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Hirschmann Automotive GmbH.

Job Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects, working closely with project teams and suppliers to achieve this goal.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in achieving target costs based on total cost of ownership
  • Integrate supplier innovations into project phases
  • Select suppliers in collaboration with the PUC/PUQ team
  • Initiate and monitor the preparation of inquiries and obtaining quotations
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in procurement or a related field
  • SAP experience is an advantage
  • Good English skills in speaking and writing
  • Assertiveness with a confident presence and a high degree of initiative
