Staff Application Engineer High Voltage Discretes for Onboard Charger

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team in Villach, Austria. As a key member of our Technical Marketing Team, you will collaborate closely with international customers and system manufacturers to support design-in activities and understand application needs.
Key Responsibilities- Product Development: Drive the final data sheet and other go-to-market collateral for our high voltage discrete products, including application notes and evaluation boards.
- Technical Customer Interface: Lead the technical evaluation and design-in of our products, providing expert guidance and support to customers.
- System Concept Identification and Analysis: Identify and analyze new system concepts, providing technical solutions to customers and assessing the impact on our products.
- Topology Analysis and Assessment: Analyze and assess topologies and application-relevant operating conditions via simulation and measurements on prototypes.
- Technical Documentation and Training: Prepare and provide technical documentation and trainings on product and application level.
- Global Expert Team: Be part of a global interdisciplinary expert team consisting of technical marketing, product development, quality, finance, sales, and regional marketing.
- Education: Degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, physics, or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in the design, development, and testing of power electronic systems and/or semiconductors.
- Technical Skills: Ability to solve complex technical issues involving expert network, advanced communication skills, and a team player mindset.
- Language Skills: Excellent English skills, including the ability to present and report in a clear and convincing manner.
