Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher - Information Security
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the field of information security. The successful candidate will carry out high-quality research, specialise in a particular field, and participate in the university administration.
Main Responsibilities:
- Independent research activities in the field of information security, digital forensics, and privacy.
- Independent teaching of courses, including examinations.
- Supervision of students, including supervision of bachelor theses.
- Participation in organisational and administrative tasks, as well as evaluation measures.
- Continuing education.
Requirements:
- Completed relevant doctoral or PhD degree.
- Excellent knowledge in selected areas of information security, digital forensics, and privacy.
- Proven publication experience.
- Proven teaching skills.
- Creativity and implementation skills.
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with new complex topics and tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proven experience in software development (esp. open source) is an advantage.
- German language skills are an advantage.
- Leadership skills in dealing with student employees and/or project staff.
- Communication skills in supervising students.
- Enthusiasm for university research.
- Reliability.
- Ability to work in a team.
