Clinical Support Specialist: Technical Expert for Cochlear Implants

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at MED-EL. This role requires strong technical expertise, particularly in cochlear implants, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support our subsidiaries, distributors, clinics, and patients worldwide with comprehensive knowledge of middle ear implants (VIBRANT SOUNDBRIDGE) and bone conduction solutions (BONEBRIDGE and ADHEAR).
  • Prepare and deliver trainings, webinars, and online activities, including training organization, presentation creation, and public speaking.
  • Present our products during on-site trainings.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a technical field or life sciences, or relevant professional experience, accompanied by an interest in medicine and audiology.
  • An excellent command of written and spoken English; German language skills are also highly valued.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills and a cooperative personality.
  • Technical understanding, particularly in online activities like training and remote support.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, with a valid driver's license (B).

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary, estimated at €63,000 per year based on professional experience, plus a range of benefits, including:

The formal minimum salary according to Collective Bargaining Agreement is €41,691.44, but we offer a higher salary based on your experience and qualifications.
