Master Thesis: Design and Implementation of Interleaved Converter for Battery Test System

This master's thesis focuses on developing and implementing an interleaved converter specifically for battery pack testing. Electric vehicles rely on battery packs composed of hundreds of individual cells, each requiring continuous monitoring by a battery management system to ensure safe and efficient operation. To simulate realistic driving conditions, a high current and high bandwidth battery test system is essential. The insights gained will help in the design of future battery management systems.

The completion of a Master's thesis within the employment is possible and supported. This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.
Requirements- Motivated and committed Master's student from the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering or similar
- Knowledge and interest in power electronics and PCB design
- Knowledge and interest in hardware assembly and validation
- An independent and self-motivated working style
- Willingness to work within an international team
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group D for master students.
