Global Nuclear Safety and Security Network Coordinator

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is seeking a highly skilled professional to coordinate the Global Nuclear Safety and Security Network (GNSSN). The consultant will work under the supervision of the Section Head, Networks Management and Partnership Section, Office of Safety and Security Coordination (NSOC), and in coordination with relevant staff in the Department of Nuclear Safety and Security.
Key responsibilities include providing project management for the implementation and tracking of GNSSN activities and capacity building initiatives. The consultant will ensure effective coordination of identified issues and ensure timely follow-up actions. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to and facilitate the drafting and review of relevant documents and reports pertinent to the networks' activities and capacity building initiatives in close liaison with involved stakeholders.
- Main Responsibilities
- Provide project management for the implementation and tracking of GNSSN activities and capacity building initiatives;
- Ensure effective coordination of identified issues and ensure timely follow-up actions;
- Contribute to and facilitate the drafting and review of relevant documents and reports pertinent to the networks' activities and capacity building initiatives;
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in project management, business management, or equivalent. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience preferably in project coordination, information management, communication and outreach, ideally in an international environment is required. Good oral and written command of English is essential. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages is an asset.
