With a commitment to enriching the educational journey, the organization has supported more than 115,000 students in their pursuit of international education.
Key Responsibilities:
The Academic Program Coordinator for our Study Abroad Program is crucial in ensuring the effective delivery of academic services at the Vienna Center. This role encompasses the management of over 80 course offerings for more than 250 students each semester, supported by a diverse team of over 70 adjunct faculty members.
- Faculty Communication and Engagement:
- Serve as the primary liaison for faculty inquiries, facilitating communication between faculty and the academic team.
- Assist in the management of essential academic processes, including class scheduling and faculty meetings.
- Disseminate pertinent information and academic policies to faculty on behalf of the academic team.
- Coordinate onboarding for new faculty and conduct orientation sessions prior to the semester, providing ongoing support throughout their tenure.
- Student Advising:
- Support the academic advising process throughout the semester.
- Guide students in navigating academic requirements and course selections.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Proficient in English and German.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in an academic or administrative setting.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Austrian work permit.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
