Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the formulation and execution of sustainability initiatives throughout the organization.
- Perform thorough LEAP (Life cycle analysis and Environmental Action Planning) assessments to analyze and enhance our ecological footprint.
- Develop and implement Biodiversity Action Plans (BAP) that align with our corporate sustainability objectives.
- Evaluate the company's energy portfolio and create strategic plans to enhance energy efficiency.
- Set and promote Science-Based Targets (SBTn) aimed at minimizing carbon emissions.
- Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure alignment with ESG goals and reporting standards.
- Track and evaluate the success of sustainability programs, providing data-driven suggestions for ongoing enhancement.
- Offer expert advice on sustainability-related regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to boost sustainability awareness and involvement within the organization.
- Present sustainability metrics, performance, and advancements to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ESG frameworks, biodiversity, and sustainability reporting.
- Strong expertise in LEAP analysis, Science-Based Targets (SBTn), and Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) execution.
- Experience in assessing energy portfolios and crafting strategies to decrease carbon footprints.
- Comprehensive understanding of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to convert complex data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across various departments.
- Experience in leading workshops and training on sustainability topics.
- A genuine passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive environmental impact.
- Proficiency in English and a high level of German.
