We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Specialist to join our team at Journi GmbH. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of our software products.
  • Identify and document software issues using bug-tracking tools and collaborate with the development team to resolve defects.
  • Conduct thorough testing across multiple mobile devices, platforms, and OS versions to ensure compatibility and functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and QA methodologies to continuously improve our testing processes.
YOUR BAG OF TRICKS
  • 4+ years of professional experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify bugs or issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communicator and ability to understand different technical topics.
  • Constantly learning, asking for feedback, and self-motivated.
  • Proactive and take ownership of your work.
  • Able to relocate to or be based in Vienna - the world's most livable city.
  • You're an EU citizen or have a working visa for Austria (unfortunately we aren't able to support non-EU citizens for this position).
NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with API testing tools.
  • Experience with performance and security testing.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX, common designs and navigation patterns, accessibility, and willingness to cooperate with designers to assert the best user experience.
