We are seeking a highly skilled Product Definition Engineer to join our team at Infineon Technologies. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for defining the product specifications of our next-generation DC/DC controllers.
Key Responsibilities- Collect market and customer feedback to inform product development
- Define product specifications and requirements
- Contribute innovative concepts and ideas to drive product development
- Validate product designs and generate test reports
- Develop customer product collateral, including application notes and customer presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product meets customer needs
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in engineering design and/or applications engineering and customer support
- Extensive knowledge of semiconductor design and application development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with digital and analog controllers and drivers for power management
- Knowledge of magnetics design and optimization
- Experience with safety and EMI compliance
- Proficiency in PCB design tools, such as Altium or Allegro
- Experience with simulation tools
