Senior Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage the financial accounting activities of subsidiaries in the General Ledger area, coordinating with the Center of Excellence Organizations within the FSSC EMENA region.
  • Consolidate and centralize the Finance function in EMENA, including the expansion of outsourcing scope, and steer the performance of the external service provider Accenture.
  • Support projects for process optimization and harmonization of relevant RTR topics in the EMENA region, and collaborate closely with Human Resources, Controlling, and internal and external auditors.
  • Coordinate between finance functions (RTR, OTC, and PTP) during regular closing activities, ensuring successful and compliant external reporting for both local and group reporting packages.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Accounting, with a strong command of English and good communication/facilitation skills.
  • Experience in working in a Financial Shared Service Center organization is desired, as is proficiency in SAP FI/CO.
