Job Title: General Ledger Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled General Ledger Accountant to join our team in DO & CO - Aktiengesellschaft. As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our group's accounting information. This includes the preparation and verification of financial data, general ledger entries, and financial statement reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify financial data, general ledger entries, and financial statement reconciliation
  • Support the accounting department in the HQ with monthly and annual closing processes, journal entries, and general finance duties
  • Prepare independent monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for several Austrian companies
  • Prepare appendices and publication documents for the respective individual financial statements
  • Comprehensive group reporting in the form of quarterly reporting packages

Requirements:

  • Accountant examination desirable
  • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
  • Strong sense of responsibility and assertive, charismatic personality
  • Professional communication skills in German and English
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
  • Enjoy team and project work
  • Hands-on mentality and persistence
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and ideally experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV
