Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Director to lead our implementation and rollout projects.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience in managing projects within a corporate group or comparable organizations, with a degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.

A strong understanding of common project management methods and tools is essential, as well as experience in leading international teams and managing external partners. The ability to work independently, with good communication skills and initiative, is also crucial.

This role requires fluency in German and English, with a willingness to travel up to 20% for the position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work packages within projects
  • Conduct professional project planning, control, and reporting
  • Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary and international project teams
  • Coordinate employees from various units and divisions, as well as external partners, within the context of projects
  • Oversee project closure and handover to regular support and local business entities
  • Further develop project management and rollout methods, standards, and tools used at PALFINGER
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in managing projects within a corporate group or comparable organizations
  • Degree in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • Profound knowledge of common project management methods and tools
  • Experience in leading international teams and managing external partners
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems beneficial
  • Structured, independent, solution- and goal-oriented approach to work, along with good communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work in a team
  • Fluency in German and English
