**Job Description Overview**

At PALFINGER AG, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Inventory Optimization Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels, improve supply chain efficiency, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of target definitions and ensure follow-up and transparency in inventory management processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SCM, Operations, Procurement, and PLM, to achieve inventory optimization targets
  • Derive inventory management measures and establish follow-up processes and monitoring
  • Develop short- and long-term measures on inventory management and establish a continuous improvement program
  • Contribute to trade-offs between inventory costs, service levels, and sustainability targets while considering company goals
  • Establish state-of-the-art inventory management processes, standards, and targets
  • Communicate with location and regional managers to maintain required inventory levels across various locations
  • Set up inventory training programs to establish company-wide standards and competencies
  • Actively support supply chain improvement projects and system rollouts
  • Establish inventory reporting systems and improvement processes
Qualifications and Requirements
  • University degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Multi-year work experience in SCM in a global organization
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, particularly in inventory management
  • High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills combined with project management skills
  • A very accurate and structured way of working and presenting
  • Proficiency in Business English
