We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Inventory Optimization Specialist, driving inventory management strategies across the organization.

Estimated Salary: €57,578.92 (based on full-time employment) + market-conform overpayment according to experience and qualification.

Job Description:

  • Support target definition process, ensuring transparency and follow-up with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in SCM, Operations, Procurement, and PLM&E to achieve inventory optimization targets.
  • Derive inventory management measures, establish follow-up processes, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Develop short- and long-term measures for inventory management and implement a continuous improvement program.
  • Contribute to trade-offs between inventory costs, service levels, and sustainability targets while considering company goals.
  • Establish state-of-the-art inventory management processes, standards, and targets.
  • Communicate effectively with location- and regional managers to maintain required inventory levels across various locations.
  • Set up inventory training programs to establish company-wide standards and competencies.
  • Support supply chain improvement projects and system rollouts.
  • Establish an inventory reporting system and improvement processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in supply chain management or a related field.
  • Multi-year work experience in SCM in a global organization.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management & especially in inventory management.
  • High level of interpersonal and intercultural skills combined with project management skills.
  • A very accurate and structured way of working and presenting.
  • Business English.
