Software Service Contract Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Service Contract Manager to join our team at AVL. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing software service programs and ensuring the best possible maintenance program for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take on the role of project owner and manager for software service programs, focusing on projects with complex integration efforts and/or included development efforts.
  • Define and determine the execution team and methodology for software projects.
  • Act as the interface between customers and internal stakeholders for specific software service programs.
  • Monitor programs in terms of cost, content, and quality based on established and defined processes.
  • Derive and implement improvements as part of the customer program.
Requirements
  • Completed technical and business education (University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology, or comparable) with a focus on business informatics or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience as a project manager in the management of software projects and/or programs or projects at the interface between software and hardware.
  • Experience with internal and external interface management with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • ITIL Foundation and/or IPMA certification an advantage.
  • Business fluent knowledge in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel (maximum) 20 percent, mainly within Europe or beyond if necessary.
