Regional Senior Financial Controller

This role will support the development of the regional finance function and improve the performance of several large operating entities in Central Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Support the regional CFO in developing the regional finance function and improving OE performance
- Prepare financial analysis and conduct deep dives to inform financial decision-making
- Coordinate the preparation of planning and strategic dialogue documents
- Monitor and challenge the performance of several large OEs in the region
- Prepare regular financial reports for regional management and headquarters
- Set productivity initiatives and monitor delivery
- Develop and implement a steering approach for life and health business and pension funds
- Relevant professional experience, preferably in a global organization
- Life actuary or strong mathematical/actuarial background
- Fluent in English; business fluency in German and/or other languages in the CEE region is an advantage
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within pre-defined parameters
- Strong team player with ability to establish and maintain working relationships with colleagues from different backgrounds, functions, and cultures
