The Digital Preservation Coalition is committed to excellence in information governance and is seeking an experienced Information Governance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

As Information Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of information across all areas of the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining information governance policies and procedures that align with industry best practices;
  • Coordinating and supervising the activities of the information governance team to ensure efficient and effective information management services;
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to information governance policies and procedures;
  • Evaluating and updating information governance systems and processes to ensure they remain relevant and effective in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Providing guidance and support to staff on information governance matters, including training and awareness programs.

You will have a strong background in information governance, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
