We are in search of a Technical Architect specializing in SAP solutions within our Business Application division. In this role, you will serve as the link between business requirements and technology by architecting comprehensive solutions and their components. You will collaborate with project leaders, consultants, and domain architects to identify optimal solutions that align with existing systems or determine which elements need to be developed from the ground up. Additionally, you will design, construct, and manage shared platforms that facilitate the efficient development and operation of business-facing applications.
Role ResponsibilitiesSOLUTION ARCHITECTURE
As a Technical Architect at Red Bull, you will create solutions that align with business needs utilizing both on-premise and cloud technologies that are reliable, cutting-edge, and operationally supported. Working alongside IT project leaders, you will spearhead the design and architecture of comprehensive IT solutions that fulfill business objectives. You will engage with IT project leaders, developers, vendors, and other stakeholders to harmonize business needs and translate them into technical specifications. Furthermore, you will articulate features, functionalities, and other critical aspects of the proposed components to the involved teams.
LEADERSHIP AND ASSISTANCE
In this capacity, you will offer technical direction and leadership to application teams throughout the application lifecycle. You will also facilitate and lead problem-solving initiatives (e.g., Root Cause Analysis) in collaboration with various partners. Additionally, you will champion the adoption of new technologies, best practices, and established reference architectures.
TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION
To enhance existing systems and processes, you will assess and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks. You will ensure the seamless incorporation of new solutions into current systems and infrastructures.
DOCUMENTATION AND STANDARDS
Your responsibilities will also include the creation and ongoing maintenance of detailed documentation of solution architectures, including diagrams, specifications, and guidelines. You will ensure adherence to industry standards, legal requirements, and company policies.
QualificationsA degree in computer science or a related discipline
Several years of professional experience in a technical/IT role, ideally as a Technical Architect
Advanced understanding of IT with a focus on strategic planning and the ability to present architectural challenges and negotiate with stakeholders
Experience in IT project management and collaboration with consultants, as well as in the design and development of integrations or enhancements for standard applications and SAP systems
Solid understanding of SAP modules and processes, including common architectural patterns and associated components (e.g., MM, SD, PLM, AP, AR, master data distribution)
Familiarity with development and enhancement frameworks within SAP - ABAP Objects, CDS, SAP Fiori developments, OData developments
Knowledge of modern web technologies and best practices such as REST, GraphQL, API management, data ingestion & streaming, CDN
Proficient communication skills in both German and English
Strong leadership and communication capabilities, along with a technical and entrepreneurial understanding of business processes
Additional InformationAs part of our commitment to transparency, we disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,229 gross per month. However, our competitive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is significantly above the stated minimum salary.
