Risk and Compliance Expert

Located in Vienna, we are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Expert to join our Banking Operations team at Erste Group Bank AG.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in the banking industry, with a strong focus on client support, compliance, or operations ideally in an AML role or deal execution department with a focus on client onboarding. They should possess exceptional knowledge and understanding of KYC requirements, excellent communication skills, and be fluent in English or German.
We offer a competitive salary of €48,323 per year, based on full-time employment and collective agreement fulfillment. This is just a formality, as we would be happy to discuss your actual salary in person. This exciting opportunity is part of our Customer and KYC Services unit, responsible for the onboarding of Corporate and FI clients from a KYC perspective. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, including business lines, external lawyers, and relevant teams, to ensure seamless client relationships. As a senior counterpart, they will act as an in-house expert for customer life cycles using digital workflow engines and participate in internal and group-wide projects to streamline processes and digitalize onboarding journeys.

You will be expected to guide and develop more junior colleagues, ensuring overall adherence to compliance requirements, high-quality standards, and timelines.
