About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our Insurance practice at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business impact through advanced analytics and data science methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data science solutions to drive business growth and improvement in the insurance sector
  • Lead and manage projects and teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science and analytics
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership and industry insights
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field, with a strong background in advanced analytics and data science
  • Advanced degree in a field related to business analytics, statistics, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leadership and project management experience
  • Strong technical skills in data science and analytics, with expertise in machine learning and data visualization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders
