Medical Imaging Specialist Internship Opportunity in Vienna

We are piur imaging GmbH, a pioneering AI-driven medical device scale-up revolutionizing the third dimension of ultrasound. Our innovative solutions aim to provide affordable high-quality healthcare globally.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student (15-20h) (m/f/d) for our Vienna office to assist with various tasks:

  • System Installations and Setups: Assist with on-site and remote installations, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Software and Hardware Testing: Execute and document tests to validate system capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Hardware Prototype Design and Testing: Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and test new hardware prototypes.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Ongoing Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or Medical Engineering.
  • Basic Linux knowledge and programming experience.
  • Knowledge of microprocessors and computer components.
  • Interest in medical imaging and working with physicians.
  • Independent, organized, and strong team player skills.
  • Fluent English (German skills a plus).
  • CAD knowledge is a plus.
