Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to join our team at Raiffeisenbankengruppe. As an Application Manager, you will be responsible for the deployment and operation of our applications throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the deployment and operation of applications, ensuring seamless integration with our infrastructure and systems.
  • Collaborate with software and site reliability engineers to define infrastructure and deployment requirements.
  • Work with software engineers and platform teams to ensure development, test, and production environments are set up and working correctly.
  • Design procedures for application and system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of incidents, defects, and triage issues to ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

  • Working experience with maintaining production services, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Familiarity with modern technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems, shell, and Python scripting.
  • Nice to have: experience with Windows systems, AWS or Azure, and GitHub.
