About the Role:

As a Senior Application Manager at Erste Group Bank, you will be responsible for the stable operation of supported services in the Digital Banking and Payments environment as part of 2nd level support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of applications and services
  • Monitor and analyze performance issues and errors
  • Document changes and adaptations in various documentation tools
  • Perform root cause analysis using monitoring and observability tools
  • Manage incidents and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Contribute to the further development and optimization of operational and business processes

Requirements:

  • Experience in application operation and management
  • Familiarity with Cloud and/or On-prem infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Unix and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Ability to work in a team and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of scripting and programming languages, especially for web applications with Java, JavaScript, and HTML
  • Excellent English and German skills, both written and verbal
