About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People & Culture Manager to join our team at IKEA Austria GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of local leadership capabilities and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Development: Support the continuous development of local leadership capabilities, including talent onboarding, coaching on performance management, and addressing multi-generational workforce challenges.
  • Strategic Business Planning: Participate in the development of strategic business plans and ongoing business decisions, representing the People & Culture function.
  • Talent Management: Ensure that talent and succession goals and performance management for assigned business areas are achieved, providing advice and expertise to line managers.
  • Labour Relations: Identify, evaluate, and monitor actual and potential labour issues that could create significant risks for IKEA, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • P&C Initiatives: Identify requirements for P&C initiatives, participate in their implementation, and support data entry and documentation handling to ensure compliance.
  • Co-worker Relations: Implement a common way of managing co-worker relations issues, delivering consistency and fairness in all processes, and analyzing root causes in coordination with Unit P&C Business Partner Managers.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Approve changes to off-cycle compensation and pay equality scenarios, determine job and salary level impacts, and create action plans to address these impacts.
  • Exit Management: Manage involuntary and voluntary exits for co-workers based on guidelines and legal requirements, participating in performance reviews and calibration sessions as needed.
  • Industry Trends: Prepare reports on industry trends and other data for key positions conversations with business and Talent for Growth discussions.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced People & Culture Manager with a strong background in business and finance, stakeholder relationships, process optimization, and talent management. You should have a proven record of delivering business results, a strong understanding of HR-related topics, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
