About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Code Module Developer to join our team at Dynatrace Austria GmbH. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for implementing new features, changes, and improvements to our Python Agent, written in C++ and Python.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop performance and availability monitoring solutions for Python applications
  • Work primarily with Python and C++ (for native extensions)
  • Analyze and understand the inner workings of common Python application frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.)
  • Design and implement new features and feature ownership
  • Cooperate with local and international development teams
Requirements
  • Several years of experience as a Software Engineer with Python (priority) and C++
  • Sound knowledge of Python, including core packages, asyncio, third-party libraries, and surrounding infrastructure
  • Understanding of how the Python interpreter works
  • Enjoying systems programming and understanding system-level concepts
  • Knowledge of OpenTelemetry is a plus
