Job Title: Senior Legal and Compliance Expert

Raiffeisen Tech is seeking an experienced Senior Legal and Compliance Expert to oversee and ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements across our locations and operations.

The ideal candidate will have a sound background in legal and compliance, ideally within the IT and banking sectors, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal and compliance support, facilitating contracting processes, and coordinating with RBI Group functions to ensure compliance with group directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal and compliance support to various sites
  • Coordinate with RBI Group functions to ensure compliance with group directives
  • Address compliance topics from both the RBI Group and Austrian legal perspectives
  • Oversee GDPR, DPO, ICS, and outsourcing activities and supporting these topics to our Kosovo and Romania operations
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for audits
  • Drive the general governance and manage directives for Raiffeisen Tech and subsidiaries
  • Steer and advise on the legal, compliance, GDPR, DPO, ICS, and regulatory agenda for Raiffeisen Tech group

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in legal and compliance within IT, banking, or a corporate environment
  • Sound understanding of corporate background and governance
  • Broad knowledge of corporates law, especially Austrian labor law
  • Experience with GDPR, data protection, and compliance topics
  • Ability to manage operational risk and outsourcing
  • Sound communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with different departments and teams
