**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Safeguards Information Analyst to join our team at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating environmental sampling data, analyzing results from multiple laboratories, and providing expert advice on environmental sampling approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate environmental sampling data and results from multiple laboratories to corroborate observations and follow up on identified issues.
- Perform uranium enrichment calculations and reactor fuel burn up calculations for various reactor types.
- Develop and maintain expertise in scientific approaches related to environmental sampling evaluation processes and measurement technologies.
- Provide expert advice on environmental sampling approaches and techniques.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of efficiency, technical competence, and integrity in the analysis and evaluation of environmental sampling data.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in chemistry, physics, nuclear engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- Minimum of seven years of experience in environmental sampling evaluation methodologies applied to safeguards.
- Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages is an asset.
Benefits:
- Attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $77,326.
- Variable post adjustment, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses.
- 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan, and health insurance.
