Senior International Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior International Tax Manager to join our team at Valneva SE. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic tax leadership and expertise in support of M&A activities
- Managing tax audits and disputes, and coordinating with external advisors
- Reviewing international tax returns and ensuring compliance
- Providing guidance on tax implications of global business operations
- Monitoring changes in international tax legislation and assessing impact on the company
- Collaborating with finance, legal, and operations teams on tax-related matters
- Maintaining tax documentation and mitigating tax risks
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years experience in international tax strategy
- Master's degree in Tax Management, Accounting or International Law (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred)
- Experience with transfer pricing, tax provision calculations, and tax compliance
- Knowledge of M&A tax implications and ability to provide strategic tax advice to senior management
- Experience with tax audits and disputes in a multinational environment (Pharma/Life Sciences Sector preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English is a must, multiple other languages are a plus
